آرمی میس پر بیٹھے فون کال آئی کہ کچھ جوان آۓ ہیں ان کا کوئی مسئلہ بن گیا ہے_ ہوا یوں تھا کہ انہوں نے آرمی میں شمولیت کی غرض سے آپنی آپنی میٹرک کی اسناد جعلی بنوائیں تھیں_ جب ایک پکڑا گیا تو اس نے سب کا پول کھول دیا_ ان کے بچاؤ اور واپسی کیلۓ سوچ بچار شروع ہوئی_ محترمہ کے خاوند کے آرمی آفیسران سے اچھے تعلقات تھے، انہوں نے رابطے کیۓ اور چند ایک خاتون ٹیچرز جو آرمی پبلک سکول میں بچوں کو پڑھاتی تھیں اور ہاسٹل میں موجود آپنے چند فیلوز سے ان کا مسئلہ شیئر کیا کہ آپ ان کو بھرتی نہ کریں مگر انوسٹی گیشن اور سزا کے مرحلے سے چھوڑ دیں_ خیر صبح ایک کرنل صاحب کے آفس پہنچے تو سب سے باری باری تفتیش ہوئی_ جعلی ڈگری کس نے بنا کر دی_ یہ سب نوجوان باری باری بولے بس تعلیم کی مقررہ حد کی اہلیت نہیں رکھتے تھے تو چالیس، چالیس ہزاد دے کر یہ ڈگریاں بنوائیں_
یاد رہے کہ ان میں ہمارے راج محل کا بھی ایک جوان تھا جو اتنا ٹیلنٹڈ نہیں تھا_ جب اس سے پوچھا گیا تو دیسی لعب و لہجے میں بولا او سر جی میں جب وردی میں آرمی کے جوانوں کو دیکھتا ہوں تو بہت اچھا لگتا ہے، سر جی مجھے آرمی کے جوانوں کی یہ وردی بہت پسند ہے، اس کو پہننے کا شوق تھا بس میں نے یہ ڈگری بنوا لی_ اس کا انداز اور بےدھڑک بول چال سن کر سب کو ہنسی آگئ_ کرنل صاحب نے کہا کہ تم رکو اور باقی سب جاؤ اور گھوم کر انچارج کو بولا ! ان سب کو مزید کسی تفتیش کے ریجیکٹ کر کے واپس گھر بھیج دو البتہ اس کو رکھ لو جو کہتا ہےکہ وردی اچھی لگتی ہے_ انچارج صاحب بولے اسے کس بنیاد پر آخر_ کرنل صاحب بولے کہ ڈگریاں سب کی جعلی ہیں اور اس جوان کی بھی جعلی ہے مگر یہ روزگار کی یا کسی اور مجبوری کے بجاۓ بتا رہا ہےکہ اسے آرمی کی وردی پسند ہے_ سنو میجر اس کے پاس ڈگری نہیں ہے لیکن ایک جنون ہے
